All Levels with Kristy, Sundays, 5:30 – 7:00 pm (currently cancelled) – This is a hatha yoga class open to all levels of experience. Postures (asanas) and stretches are taught in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. A variety of styles are used,  sometimes focusing on a specific series of postures, other times following a flow of movements. Attention is given to proper alignment of the body in an effort to help the student find greater balance, strength, flexibility, calmness, and above all, self-awareness.

Vinyasa Yoga with Tammy, Sundays 10:00-11:30 am – Vinyasa is a flowing yoga style, moving and fun, that unites breath with movement. Includes some physically challenging postures taught in stages — modifications will be presented for newer practitioners, and more experienced yogis can explore more difficult variations.

Mindfulness Yoga with Bev, Mondays 5:30 – 7:00 pm – Bev’s Monday night class is accessible for all students of all levels. She encourages a movement practice that strengthens both body and mind. She teaches alignment principles while integrating mindfulness and deepening awareness. Classes promote balance, flexibility, and strength using a variety of postures.

Wake Up to Hatha Yoga with Swarupa, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30 am – This Anusara-style class is for those of you who are newer to Hatha yoga and for level 1 students, who want to start your day with a gentle openness and alignment that will enhance your day-to-day experience. It’s a tangible and practical way to invite healthy living into your work life and safety and flexibility to your recreational life. Over the course of six weeks you will have the tools to open and refresh your body when you need to: at work, home, or play. All body shapes and sizes welcome. Tune in and Flow with Kayla, Tuesdays 5:30-7:00 pm –

Kayla combines ancient yogic techniques with modern research to bring yoga flows specific for today’s common ailments. Depart from dis-ease with this gentle class designed for every-body from the complete newbie to the seasoned practitioner.  You do NOT have to be flexible to take this class!

Class begins with a brief introduction to the evening’s topic, and moves through a warm up series,  posture sequence, guided relaxation, breath work  and ends with a few minutes for questions.

Gentle Resilience Yoga with Carol, Wednesdays 5:30 to 7:00 pm – Join us for a rejuvenating combination of yoga postures refined by alignment, breath work and relaxation. Build a greater capacity for vitality as you increase strength, flexibility and balance. Perfect for those wanting a slower paced class with an emphasis on awareness. Forrest Yoga with Lindsey, Thursdays, 5:30 – 7:00 pm – The Forrest Yoga method gets you connecting to your core – getting strong and centered. We use heat, deep breathing, and vigorous sequences to move out toxins while the long holds in the pose progressions help you flush, oxygenate, and rejuvenate every cell. The classes are a series of carefully constructed asanas and vinyasa designed to build strength and endurance, strip numbness from your core, help you breathe and move in ways that release emotional shielding, and prevent and heal injury.

Restorative Series with Swarupa, Fridays (except 1st Friday), 5:30 – 7:00 pm Pre-registation is required. Call Swarupa at 723-3283 or to reserve your space. Registration is limited to 10 people.

Restorative yoga incorporates passively held postures (with the help of blankets and bolsters), gentle movement, visualization, and meditation. Chronically stressed muscles can effortlessly elongate and open. Allowing your mind to follow meditative guidance, settling in to the the present moment, can restore the natural balance of your mind, body and spirit. A regular practice in relaxation allows one to breathe easier, sleep better, think more clearly, and respond more rationally to the stresses of daily life. All are welcome.

Gentle Flow with Emily and Mary on Saturdays 10:30am – 12:00pm

An all levels class that explores basic seated and standing yoga postures, using breath to deepen awareness and create smooth transitions. Use of props and modifications make this class accessible to all.

First Friday Community Yoga Tasting with Special Guest Teachers, 5:15 – 6:15 pm – Whoo hoo!  A free yoga class!  Open to all levels including those new to yoga; held on the first Friday of each month.  Please see our schedule page.
